Terms of Service
Effective June 1, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of the Etenos website, desktop applications, and control plane services. They are written in plain language and structured so they are straightforward to adapt to a signed agreement.
1. The agreement
By using the services you agree to these terms. If you use the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept them for that organization.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the services only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the services.
- You are responsible for the code, repositories, and tools you connect, and for the approvals you grant.
4. Approvals and side effects
The services are designed so that side effects — such as writing files, running commands, committing, pushing, or opening pull requests — require your explicit approval. You are responsible for the actions you approve and for the configuration of your policy profiles.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor according to the plan you select. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until canceled, and you can cancel at any time through the billing portal.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the services. You retain all rights in your code and content. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your repositories to us.
7. Disclaimers
The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties. You are responsible for reviewing the work the services propose before approving it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Etenos will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the services.
9. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms and will post changes on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
